Home Birth

Choosing a home birth with a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) offers a safe, personalized, and empowering experience. CPMs provide relationship-based care, continuous support, and a lower risk of unnecessary interventions while allowing families to birth in a familiar, comfortable environment. Research shows that planned home births for low-risk pregnancies are safe under the care of skilled midwives.

I bring modern tools and medications to ensure safety while honoring the natural birth process. With comprehensive prenatal, birth, and postpartum support, I help families feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

Serving Your Community

Midwife Grace serves many communities within southeast Louisiana and southwest Mississippi. Our goal is to offer care to all low risk healthy families desiring community birth. We offer home birth within a 1hr and 10 min radius of Madisonville. We also offer birth at the Slidell birth studio where you can achieve the experience of home birth away from home.

At Grace Midwifery Collective, we plan to unleash a revolution in birth care! Our mission is to rally a vibrant community of birth professionals: Midwives, doulas, photographers, lactation consultants, educators and more-dedicated to delivering awe inspiring prenatal and postpartum care.

Through thoughtfully curated packages, we elevate prenatal and postpartum care into a symphony of support, nurturing and empowerment. As advocates we’re on a mission to reshape community standards, offer more affordable care by now holding the ability to bill insurance, ensuring accessible top tier care for all, regardless of birthing in their home, at our Birth Studio or in the hospital. We are growing a collective that is sustainable for the Birth Professionals, here to leave a legacy, leaving a ripple affect so that our children will birth in the place that feels safest for them, not bound by finances or fear.

Grace Midwifery Collective’s goal is to reach the underserved where we can offer culturally competent individualized care. We are not just expanding; we’re pioneering a new era of holistic care for southeast Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf coast. We plan to empower every individual to embrace the full spectrum of their birth experience with confidence, joy, and unparalleled support.

Our Services

Midwifery

Midwife Grace Jackson, owner and primary midwife is a long standing provider to the community. Learn more about the midwifery model of care and our home birth or birth center options below.

Lactation

Lactation assistance is included in our midwifery package regardless of where you birth. An International Board Certified Lactation Counselor visits your home at the 3 day visit to assist with a successful start to your breast or chest feeding journey.

Doula

Doulas are an integral part of birth support. We are excited to announce a special opportunity to offer doulas as part of the Grace Midwifery Collective.

Childbirth Education

We offer a multitude of childbirth education options. See our class schedule and event list below and find the right fit for you.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

We love to help you find true, lasting relief from pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, urinary and bowel conditions, orthopedic pelvic pain, or pre- and post-natal issues.
